Has Everyone Caught Their Breath Yet?
In just a few days the holidays will be a thing of the past - a bittersweet time. On the one hand we’ll all get some much needed rest - I often wonder what I’ll do with myself just after the holidays when there’s no more baking, shopping, wrapping, and finishing up gifts. Then again, I always feel just a little bit cheated because I feel like Christmas passes too quickly and in the blink of an eye it’s over.
Our household had a wonderful Christmas, and we were able to spend lots of time with family - a treat for us since we’re usually on our own for the holidays. I was definitely touched by the generosity of our families this year.
And now, it’s preparation time for the New Year. A time for looking back and thinking ahead.
Well, just thought I’d touch base in the brief moments I have (read: brief moments with enough brain power to string words together somewhat coherently!). I have a post to reply to LJ over at Mommy Gets Paid - LJ I’ll get to it !
