Those Moments that Make it All Worthwhile
Well, to start I have to say I’ve sort of moved on to a different chapter in my life. I love blogging and hope to continue, but only when inspired. I’ve embarked on a new path - freelance writer. All of my current writing time is now spent in finding work, writing for clients and some fiction whereever I have time. I do hope my readers will continue to subscribe to my feed as I’ll try to update every couple of weeks. I want to thank you all for your support - many times I would have given up if it weren’t for the lovely comments.
Now, last night I was in the kitchen making dinner. J and I had a challenging day together - as in he challenged everything I said. I was also feeling a bit blue having had to cancel fall travel plans to visit family (the economy and cost of airfare were enough to tip the scales). Anyway, my precious little four year old must have known I was feeling sad because he drew me a picture of him and I and a truck, Then he wrote (without dad’s help) “TO MOM, JADEN” I was just so touched by this gesture, unprovoked. My crummy day became wonderful again.

How lovely to hear from you and with such great news about your new freeland writing job too. I’d love to hear more about this and who you find to write for. How do you promote yourself and do you get regular things from one person or do you tend to do one-offs?
Sorry to hear you were feeling blue, but it seems your angel knew just what you needed
Big smiles,
