Patience Therapy - This Week’s Topic

As much as I might wish otherwise, I’m going out on a limb this week and posting the topic for this week’s blog carnival.  Call me kooky, but even though Thursday is my actual due date, I’m going to plan on being here with you fine folks (and hence avoid disappointment?  As a mechanism to deal with the reality that only 5 percent of women deliver on their due date?).  Either way, we’re going ahead with this week’s topic and carnival, so I look forward to hearing from you!

So without further adieu, this week’s topic!  My new blogging friend Gilly over at Discovery Diva was kind enough to play along with me last week and post some pregnancy stories even though this isn’t really a topic related to her site.  This week I’ve decided to reciprocate.  The topic, should you choose to play along is to share a product/food/philosophy that helps keep you sane and/or feel less frazzled on those challenging days.  I personally cannot live without chocolate and my laptop, but I have a few other neat items and ideas that simplify my life so I’ll be sure to come and share those with you on Thursday morning at 8am EST.  As always, I love the random factor, so if you would rather post on a different topic that you feel will help us frazzled parents better make it through to the weekend, we’re all ears!

For those of you who are new to Patience Therapy, I’ve got some information over here for you.

Knitting as Patience Therapy

I don’t care if it makes me nerdy - I am absolutely in love with this craft. I would shout it from the rooftops if I could waddle my way up there at the moment. Having knitted all of my nieces their Christmas gifts as well as gifts for my future father-in-law, […]

Patience Therapy - A Carnival for Frazzled Parents

Well folks, it’s getting down to the nitty gritty time of my pregnancy and I’m afraid I still have a lot to do to get ready for this baby!  So, I may not have as much time as I would like to write in the coming days….I apologize in advance and hope you stick with […]

Patience Therapy - Kickoff to 2008

Well, yesterday I merrily posted a reminder for Patience Therapy being on Thursday and that I would be here today to put up the Mr. Linky. Then I tra-la-la’d off to dinner with my husband and son. Somewhere between my house and the restaurant the sad truth dawned on me. Yesterday WAS […]

Patience Therapy Resumes Tomorrow

My little carnival, Patience Therapy resumes - TOMORROW! Ack!  I’m completely unprepared, though at least you have a bit of notice.  I think for this week, I’ll leave the theme open.  The idea behind the carnival though is simple - it’s Thursday and the week is almost through.  This is the time when the […]

Patience Therapy - The Christmas Edition

First of all, Happy Holidays to Everyone! I can say this with a small measure of cheer because I’m finally seeing the light at the end of the baking tunnel. And there’s a distant glimmer in the shopping tunnel too, but it’s a bit distant yet.
At any rate, it’s “A Picture’s Worth a […]

Patience Therapy Carnival Tomorrow - a Friendly Reminder

Just a reminder, tomorrow is the latest installation of Patience Therapy - the last one until the New Year.  In fact, Having Patience will be taking a break from December 23rd until the 29th in order to spend time with family and catch up on writing for when our latest bundle of joy arrives (I’ve […]
